The requirement

Lawyers and paralegals who are practising law or providing legal services must complete in each calendar year at least 12 CPD Hours consisting of a minimum of 3 Professionalism Hours (professional responsibility, ethics and/or practice management) and up to 9 Substantive Hours. From 2021 onward, 1 of the 3 Professionalism Hours must address equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI).
